It's here at last - the last few weeks of Found in
Whitstable. Our shop will close at the end of the day on Monday 6th May.
All our
continuing stock has been relocated so it's now "Everything Must
Go" from the shop floor. Grab yourself a real
bargain as many more items have been added to the stock clearance.
Drop by the shop if you can for the full range including extra ex-display
items, but for those of you who can't make it in we have listed as much as we
can in our Sale section on the website.
And
if we don't get a chance to see or speak to you before then - thanks for all
your support - it's been a blast!!!

Vita Eos Feather Lights...
16 October, 2012
Straight from 100% Design, these feather pendant lights from Danish company Vita were our favourite find at this year's show. Its beautiful oval shape i s made from authentic bird feathers, each carefully positioned on a paper core by hand. It radiates a cosy and pleasant glow, and because the light bulb is shielded, the Eos is perfect to hang above a table, in a hall-way or indeed any place where you don’t want to be blinded by a light source. Great Eco credentials & all at a very reasonable price...

A very talented photographer has taken an amazing picture when passing by our shop a few weeks ago & he kindly sent it to us. We were so impressed we wanted to share it with you all! Love the effects he's used. His name is Colin Birchall and he doesn't have a website but can be contacted via email on boonara@btinternet.com.

Thomas Heatherwick at the V&A....
20 August, 2012
.... last few days. Just been chatting to a customer about how fabulous the Thomas Heatherwick exhibition is, and although the Olympic torch was a triumph and his Spun chairs are great fun, neither of them really do justice to the scale & ingenuity of his work. The V&A exhibition ends on 3rd September, so there's still time to catch it if you haven't already.......a truly inspirational man!

Whitstable Oyster Festival
24 July, 2012
It's here again! The Whitstable Oyster Festival 2012 started on Saturday and the weather has been really kind to us this year. The town is heaving and it's bringing lots of customers new & old into the shop. It's rather nice to hear people say "We came into your shop last year..." and we're feeling much more like part of the furniture instead of the new kid on the block...
We even had Natalie Cassidy outside the shop filming for ITV's Daybreak - not that we ahd time to watch it!
Enjoy the sunshine!!!
